Marketing Opportunities

We encourage you to share the news of your acceptance and experience at the PMRCAA residency program.

How we share the news during your stay:

We strive to celebrate each resident and the community through these marketing efforts, and our communication efforts may vary based on each individual, their work, and the needs of the community.

Before you Arrive:

We are active on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook and often share updates about the residency program. Below are the posts we may produce about each resident.

  • You may be included in an annual or biannual Artist in Residency video announcement for social media and on our RHF blog.
  • Event Communications: We often communicate open studio/community outreach/workshops to either targeted groups or the community at large. For your community events, we will promote it via our Arts Newsletter and on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Artist Introductions: We may feature you in a “Welcome to the Ranch” post prior to your arrival. Typically this is built off your artist bio and interviews for our blog.
  • Website/Blog: You may be included in a blog article on our website that highlights you and your practice. Your blog feature may also be shared via email newsletter and social media.

During your Stay:

  • Photos are often taken by staff members and occasionally by contract photographers during studio tour events.
  • If you are teaching a workshop or facilitating a community engagement event, staff will be taking photos during and will likely share these on social media in a post-event social post.
  • Because of the additional work the Roundhouse Foundation does with child development, healthy communities, and adverse childhood experience across a variety of diverse communities, we are selective about what content we share. That said, residents are welcome to share their experiences at The Ranch via their personal accounts throughout their stay.

After you Depart:

  • Blog updates: Using photos from the residency, artists may be featured in a blog post after their Studio Tour that takes place towards the end of the residency. This is to serve as a conclusion to your stay at PMRCAA and to highlight the work you’ve done during your participation in our program.

Please email Arts@roundhousefoundation.org if you would prefer not to participate in planned marketing and communications.
