How do I know what to bring?
You will be spending time in one of the most beautiful rural locations in the Pacific Northwest. Sisters is 20 miles from Bend or Redmond, we encourage you to bring what you need. We recommend tracking the weather 2 weeks prior to your arrival in order to properly pack.
Art Supplies:
Artists are expected to provide their own art materials for their projects. Sisters has limited options to purchase materials, so you will want to bring anything you might need for your project.
Clothing:
Temperatures at the Ranch, at any time of the year, can vary greatly from day to night. During spring and fall, layering is the secret to comfort.
We suggest you bring:
- slippers
- winter outerwear, including a waterproof shell
- fleece jacket, warm hat and gloves
- winter boots (for winter and spring residents) and good walking/hiking shoes
For summer month residents please bring:
- swimsuit
- sunscreen
- sun hat
- sunglasses
