Our foundation works with rural and Indigenous partners across Oregon, and we see the value of shared resources, trusted relationships, and collaboration amongst organizations. We understand that there are many ways to show up for community, outside of traditional funding models.
This list of resources is intended as a tool for nonprofits and while the list is not comprehensive, we hope it will be a launch point of possibilities for your organization.

Child Abuse Prevention Policies & Trainings
A youth protection policy is a set of rules and guidelines designed to ensure the safety, well-being, and equitable treatment of minors in an organization, preventing abuse, bullying, and harm by setting standards for adult behavior, supervision (like avoiding one-on-one contact), reporting procedures for concerns, mandatory background checks, and training for staff/volunteers, with the primary goal of keeping children safe.
Oregon’s children’s advocacy centers are designed to minimize trauma for children when there are concerns of abuse. Centers are nonprofits, often situated in a trauma-informed, child-friendly environment that helps children feel safe and comfortable. Each center provides tailored services unique to its community.
