The Condon Food Pantry plays a vital role in Gilliam County, serving about 160 people and 65 families each month. With a strong volunteer base, it provides essential support to seniors on fixed incomes and single-parent families facing food insecurity. In August 2024, after a successful capital campaign, the pantry purchased a new building to better serve the community. Recent fundraising efforts were also successful and the pantry recently celebrated a grand opening with a newly renovated space that is better equipped for increased food distribution.
The goal: to ensure no one in Condon or nearby towns goes hungry, strengthening local food security for those who need it most.
