How to Apply

New in 2019 all grant applicants are required to submit a letter of inquiry prior to submitting their full grant application.  Based on the submitted Letters of Inquiry, applicants may be invited to submit a full proposal for trustee review.

The letter of inquiry should include the following information:

  • Name and location of organization
  • Requested amount
  • A brief paragraph explaining program details not to exceed 500 words

Letter of inquiries (LOI) are due one month before grant deadlines.

Deadlines:

LOI due 1/1/19 for 2/1/19 grant deadline*
LOI due 5/3/19 for 6/3/19 grant deadline
LOI due 9/1/19 for 10/1/19 grant deadline

*Due to short notice, letter of inquiry is highly encouraged, but is not required for the 2/1/19 grant deadline.

Restrictions

The Roundhouse Foundation does not fund faith-based or political organizations. The Foundation does not favor proposals to fund endowments and capital campaigns.
