Landscape Assistant
The Landscape Assistant reports directly to the Assistant Ranch Manager. If their direct supervisor is not available, they report to the Director of Ranch Operations. The position is charged with supporting the planting of, maintaining, and harvesting from the gardens throughout the Ranch facility as well as running the greenhouse. They will assist with noxious weed control and other Ranch projects as assigned. This position will be asked to assist with product development with materials grown or found on the Ranch. The Garden Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all garden practices are working in concert with nature and commit to using the most environmentally friendly methods for crop cultivation.

Agricultural Land Management Intern
The Agricultural Land Management Intern works to understand regenerative agricultural practices, supports garden development, maintenance and cultivation, general ranch operations and ecological restoration projects at Pine Meadow Ranch. This position, along with other members of the ranch crew, will work to eradicate noxious weeds that compete with native plants, and record those efforts. For the 2023 season, this position will have particular emphasis on creating habitat for varying pollinator species that are native to central Oregon and the High Desert as well as create pollinator streps and research forage friendly pollinator plants for pastures.

Arts Program Intern
Pine Meadow Ranch Center for the Arts & Agriculture (PMRCAA) Arts Program Intern assists with the residency program in Sisters, Oregon. The residency program provides a special retreat for art making, creativity, collaborative and multidisciplinary projects, scientific research and scholarly discourse. This visually stimulating part of the country has historically and continues to provide significant inspiration to artists, writers, scientists, and scholars. The position will have the opportunity to work closely with community partners throughout the region to share programming opportunities. The internship will provide opportunities to explore career pathways in arts administration and will expose the participant to the variety of ways individuals can be part of the vibrant art residency ecosystem. The intern will work behind the scenes to ensure both the residency and parallel programs run effectively and efficiently. They will benefit from learning skills that will serve for careers in community education, arts, and administration. They will also meet and learn from the artists that come to the residency
