Join us for a Faerie Basket Weaving Workshop with Folk Artist Sylvia Friday!
In this one-day workshop, attendees will learn how to weave a faerie basket with cattails! Sylvia will guide participants in basic plaiting and twining along with the freedom to explore personal style and creativity. Participants will walk away from this workshop with a small, extra small or a teeny tiny basket woven by their own hands!
About the Instructor:
Sylvia Friday is a traditional basket maker, folk artist and storyteller. The spirit of her work is woven from her relationship with plants and animals and the lands and waterways where these beings live.
